Pledge Levels

$25 - Digital Film

For 25 dollars, you will receive a digital download version of the final film.

$50 - Movie Poster + Digital Film

For 50 dollars, you get the digital movie download plus a movie poster that you can download as a wallpaper, as well as a printed copy.

$100 - Movie Credit +

At this level, we'll include you in our credits, as well as all the previous incentives. Imagine your name on the big screen!

$250 - Signed Book by Andy + (limited quantities available)

For a 250 dollar contribution, Andy will send you a signed copy of one of his books and possibly even a witticism or two! Plus all the other cool stuff from the previous tiers.

$500 - Producer Credit +

Here's a chance to be a player! On top of all the other incentives, we will list you as a film producer. Play and re-play the credits to impress your friends!

Film Summary:

Filmed over a course of several weeks, The Common Good documentary focuses on a rural, food bank and the community it serves.  We will learn what it takes to endure poverty and explore the emotional impact it has on the citizens of Port Orford, Oregon.  

Through interviews and daily filming of activities, The Common Good follows volunteers and recipients through the daily struggles of running a food bank while facing the economic hardships of rural life.  We will hear stories that give clues about the causes of poverty in rural America and the impact it has on our future.  Through generous donations and mounting support from local farmers, residents and community clubs,  The Common Good aims to bring nutritious food and better living to all who reside in Port Orford.

A community garden keeps fresh vegetables on the menu providing nutritious food to recipients and often preferable to processed foods and canned goods.
